The cleric further highlighted that the start of the year symbolizes the promise of fresh opportunities, reminding Nigerians that every new year is a sign of endurance and resilience. “Experiencing a new year is an indication of proof of life. It is an indication that whatever has a beginning also has an end. It is also proof that there is always a fresh beginning,” he added.

Primate Ayodele commended the enduring spirit of Nigerians, praising their incredible tolerance and resilience despite the challenges of the previous year. He expressed admiration for the unwavering hope that continues to shine in the hearts of Nigerians, despite the difficulties faced in 2024.

“I want to specifically salute Nigerians for their enduring spirit. Nigerians are amazingly tolerant, and I am surprised that despite all the nation went through in 2024, hopes remain high as we begin 2025,” the cleric noted.

Looking ahead to 2025, Primate Ayodele prayed for the well-being of every Nigerian family, urging divine blessings for households to withstand the economic hardships that may arise during the year. He called for God’s grace and intervention to help Nigerians navigate the challenges they may face in the coming months.

In a special message to President Bola Tinubu, Primate Ayodele prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for the president. “I pray for Nigerian leaders, starting from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that God will grant him the wisdom to lead the nation rightly and surmount all the challenges facing the country economically, spiritually, and physically,” he said.

Primate Ayodele’s prayers and words of encouragement resonate with many Nigerians as they step into 2025, hopeful for a better year despite the uncertainties that may lie ahead. His message reflects both optimism and a call for resilience and divine intervention as the country navigates the challenges of the new year.
