A media entrepreneur and business development guru, Azeez Lamina, scion of the popular Oshoala family of Ikorodu, has expressed the desire to contest the Ikorodu Local Government Chairmanship seat in the forthcoming Local Government elections in Lagos State.
Lamina declared his intention at a well attended press conference held on Wednesday at his campaign office.
He said youths were globally favoured in leadership positions because of their abiding strength, vigour, resourcefulness and dynamism.
“I have consulted my leaders and other stakeholders widely on the need to be supported to emerge as the Ikorodu Local Government Chairman in order to harness all the potentials for greatness and transformation. I want to serve and it is not a do-or-die ambition and it is not a raw lust for power or monetary gain,” Azeez stressed.
If voted as Chairman, Azeez Oshoala, promised to unleash a fresh wave of life transforming programmes and developments hugely beneficial to all residents and indigenes.
Azeez Lamina Oshoala has successfully managed a broad spectrum of businesses under his belt as the CEO, Waves Media Limited in the last 19 years.
He holds two Masters degrees from reputable international institutions and he is a member of various professional bodies.
He is happily married with children.
