Super Falcons striker Esther Okoronkwo has won AFC Toronto’s Player of the Month award for September.
Okoronkwo registered four goals and two assists in four league appearances for AFC Toronto during the month.
The 27-year-old netted the winning goal in her side’s 1-0 win over Halifax.
The forward then provided two goals and one assist in the 7-0 victory over Vancouver.
Okoronkwo also found the net in the reverse fixture with Halifax which ended in a 1-1 draw.
She rounded off a remarkable month by assisting the only goal in another 1–0 win over Ottawa.
