It was a day of celebration, praise, and divine fulfilment as Prof. Dr. Victor Odianosen Oziegbe was officially consecrated and enthroned as the Bishop of Word of Prayer Bible Church on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The solemn but joyous ceremony was conducted by Archbishop Dr. Sunday Okokon, the President of The United Pentecostal College of Bishops (The God’s Leadership Ministry Inc.), amidst a gathering of clergymen, dignitaries, and guests from all walks of life.
In his charge during the consecration, Archbishop Okokon described Bishop Oziegbe as “a man of impeccable character, a true general in the Lord’s army, and a forthright evangelist committed to the gospel of Christ.” He emphasized that the new bishop’s elevation was both a recognition of his years of faithful service and a divine call to greater responsibility in God’s vineyard.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after his enthronement, Bishop Oziegbe expressed deep gratitude to God for what he described as “an act of divine grace and a call to higher service.” He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the message of salvation, empowering believers, and expanding the outreach of the Church to impact more lives for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
The event attracted prominent church leaders including Bishop Dr. L. U. Edema (JP), Bishop Gabriel Omoruyi, Bishop Dr. Geoffrey Omordia, Bishop Orioka Isaac and Bishop Clement Ehidiamhen.
Others are Bishop Gift Peters, Bishop-Elect Prof. Ben Omoregie, Bishop-Elect Dr. Paul Onichamba, Bishop-Elect Fred Irabo Inegbenehi, Bishop-Elect Dr Kenneth and several other distinguished ministers who graced the occasion to celebrate the newly consecrated bishop.
The ceremony featured moments of worship, prayers of dedication, and prophetic blessings, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the spiritual journey of Bishop Prof. Dr. Victor Odianosen Oziegbe and the Word of Prayer Bible Church.
