Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed how her encounter with the Holy Spirit transformed her life, freeing her from deep emotional pain, anger, depression, and immorality.
ThemomentNG reports that she made the revelation on Tuesday evening through a lengthy post on Instagram titled “7 Things the Holy Spirit Healed Me From.”
In the message, the mother of one reflected on her past struggles and how her relationship with God completely changed her.
According to the politician, she once battled uncontrollable anger that ruined her peace, strained relationships, and cost her valuable opportunities.
She also admitted to going through periods of depression and hopelessness that once pushed her close to suicide.
Dikeh explained that her turning point came when she surrendered fully to God and allowed Him to heal her brokenness.
She said her journey with Christ began after secondary school, but she drifted away until life’s challenges led her back to her faith.
That return, she added, has been her most rewarding experience.
The actress also revealed that God delivered her from sexual immorality and taught her the strength that comes with celibacy.
She said that she now sees intimacy as something sacred, guided by love and purpose rather than impulse.
Dikeh shared that her faith has also brought her unexpected blessings, including reconciling with her sister after 45 years apart.
She expressed deep gratitude for the peace she now enjoys, adding that she protects her spiritual growth fiercely and no longer entertains anything that drains her inner peace.
