The grand opening on Thursday at Bay Bridge Junction on Kpansia-Epie Expressway represents Everyday Supermarket’s entry into Bayelsa State, expanding its retail footprint and enhancing access to quality goods for local consumers.

Mr Raphael Abaziem, Polaris Bank’s South-South Directorate Head, called the inauguration a testament to growth, resilience, and strategic partnerships driving economic expansion and local enterprise development in Bayelsa State.

He noted the new store built on previous successes, such as Polaris Bank’s financing of Everyday Group’s flagship shopping complex in Port Harcourt, reflecting a strong partnership between bank and retailer.

Abaziem emphasised, “When we partner, we empower, expand, and raise the bar for retail development across Nigeria. Polaris Bank is proud to support Everyday Supermarket’s expanding impact.”

He added the bank looked forward to deepening collaboration, supporting businesses that created opportunities, empowered communities, and promoted sustainable economic growth across Nigeria’s regions.

Everyday Supermarket Chairman, Mr Yemi Osindero, expressed delight in expanding into Bayelsa, highlighting the group’s continuous growth across the South-East and South-South with 15 stores.

Osindero expressed excitement about opening more stores in Bayelsa and future plans to expand into Aba, Benin, Uyo, Enugu, and Abuja, further broadening Everyday Group’s market reach.

He hailed Polaris Bank’s role as a key enabler of enterprise development, underlining the bank’s commitment to supporting businesses that fueled local economic empowerment and regional growth.
