“I just met him in the canteen for breakfast and I said to him, in one week ‘you will be back’ and he was laughing. We are still waiting.”
Spoken to Delap since the red card?:
“I spoke with him but he knows everything. He is aware of the situation. He knows he made the mistake. Full stop, no more than that.”
Did Delap apologise?:
“Straight after the game in the changing room, he apologized to everyone.”
Changing the discipline issues:
“It’s also something we need to learn and need to do better. For sure, no doubt, we will do better than that in the future.”
Chelsea’s left wingers:
“They are both [Garnacho and Gittens] adapting to the way we work every day. They are both doing very well. This is what we want from our wingers, scoring goals and assists. It’s good that they’re both doing very well so we can choose one or the other.”
Delap a long way from the player you want him to be?:
“When Liam is on the pitch, he is more focused on trying his battle with the defender. That’s what I was trying to say. There are three players in this team that I know better than the rest, Lavia, Palmer and Delap because I knew them from City U21s. I know Liam will be a fantastic player for us, but there are some things he can improve.”
Spurs’ home record:
“I think Tottenham are doing very good. They won the Europa League and they started really well this season. It’s a derby and it will be a difficult game.”

“For sure, we are working on it, for sure.”
Conceding from set-pieces:
“I think that set-pieces, you are going to score goals and concede goals. The reason why is because when we concede, you are not strong enough. It is an action that is so difficult to defend.”

“I think as I said many times, I like to learn and evolve. In this moment, we are trying to do everything to try and avoid this kind of situation. Hopefully we can learn and be better in the future.”
