As Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy West, and his wife mark their wedding anniversary today, his wife took to Instagram to celebrate their journey so far.
In an emotional post, she reflected on the growth, challenges, and love shared between them over the past two years.
She described marriage as a daily choice; one that requires patience, communication, forgiveness, and continuous effort.
She also praised Sammy for being supportive, loving, and committed to building a strong partnership with her.

“Exactly 2years ago nov 11 2023 ago, we said “I do” — not just to a wedding, but to a lifetime of showing up for each other. A year later, I can say with full heart that marriage is more than a ceremony or a title… it’s a daily choice. A choice to love when it’s easy, and especially when it’s not. To communicate when words feel heavy. To forgive quickly, to laugh often, to keep growing together❤️🥰😍
This first year has been full of lessons, laughter, late-night talks, ups and down and quiet prayers. We’ve seen moments that tested us, but also moments that reminded us just how powerful love can be when two people are truly committed to the same vision — not of perfection, but of partnership.
Marriage has taught me that love isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about holding each other through the figuring out. It’s about celebrating the little wins, giving grace in the hard times, and never forgetting that at the end of every day, we’re on the same team.
2 year down, forever to go — and I’m still amazed at how love keeps evolving, how it keeps deepening, how it keeps teaching me that the best kind of love doesn’t just make you feel special, it makes you feel safe.
