Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has reacted to the rising killings across Nigeria, expressing deep concern for the safety of families in the country.

Sources reports that in a post on her social media page, she revealed that while she sometimes considers leaving Nigeria, she cannot do so because her family is still in the country.

She wrote: “Even if I can leave!!! I have families here for God sake. This is my home!!! This is where I am from.”

Her comments come on the heels of the recent killings in Kwara State and the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State, incidents that have heightened fears across the nation.

Meanwhile, barely 24 hours after gunmen invaded a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, terror groups have struck again, this time kidnapping four rice farmers in Bokungi Village, Edu LGA.

Sources told SaharaReporters that the attack occurred on Wednesday evening while the victims were harvesting rice on their farmlands.

A community source confirmed the incident, saying the gunmen arrived suddenly and surrounded the farmers at work.

“It has been confirmed that bandits struck again at Bokungi under the Lafiagi Emirate. Four people were abducted. Information is still emerging,” the source said.
