Rivers state assembly speaker, 15 lawmakers dump PDP for APC

Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule and 15 other lawmakers have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), dumping the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

They announced their defection at plenary on Friday.
