The unannounced show of street credibility around the capital city was ordered by the governor immediately after he was declared winner of the Accord primary.

The National leaders of the Accord were also part of the procession while three of them dropped to march on foot with the mass of the crowd

The governor who drove from Stadium area down to Igboona, Okefia down to Government House was stopped intermittently by students, shop owners and artisans.

Shout of Accord, tesojue; Ibo, ibo; imole lekansi” rented the air at every point.

From Igbomna to Orisunmibare, it was a carnival-like scenario as residents practically trekked alongside the governor’s convoy.

Accord caps and flags were snatched from the convoy. Almost a thousand caps were collected from the convoy.

At Igboona, the chair of the artisans group crossed the road, stopping the governor with artisans and technicians hailing the Accord Party.

From Orisunmibare to Olaiya, the convoy was at a snail speed with residents singing in praise of the Adeleke family and Accord Party

At Freedom Square, market people abandoned their wares and joined the chorus of Accord, Accord, Accord.

From Orisunmibare to Olaiya took almost 30 minutes as the street was filled with jubilating residents.

The shout of “ where you go we go” rented the air.

Big business leaders stormed the streets intermittently, screaming votes, votes, votes

By the time the convoy reached under the Olaiya Bridge, heading to Alekuwodo, the singing of “Ademola min gboro titi” was everywhere.

The market women at Alekuwodo stormed the convoy holding the governor down for several meetings and shouting Imole , Imole , imole

The Iyaloja for Alekuwodo personally led hundreds of her members to pray for the Governor.

At the Oke fia bridge, Accord flags adorned the whole area with more residents joining the procession.
