The medical professional-turned-politician formally registered as a member of the ADC at her ward in the Wuse area of the Federal Capital Territory, where she also received her party membership card.

Party officials and stakeholders present at the event included the FCT Chairman of the ADC, Clement Oba Ehigiator, the Abuja Municipal Area Council chairman of the party, and other senior members.

Fatima expressed excitement over her decision to join the ADC, describing the party as a platform that accommodates a growing coalition of opposition figures working to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

Her defection is the latest in a series of high-profile movements into the ADC, as opposition forces continue to realign ahead of the next electoral cycle.
