Chief Magistrate L. A. Owolabi declined to take their plea and directed that they be remanded until March 4, pending receipt of advice from the Director of Public Prosecution.

The Prosecutor, ASP Adegoke Ademigbuji told the court that the offences were committed on Dec. 8 and Dec. 12, 2025 at Aboru and Agbelekale.

Ademigbuji alleged that the evangelist, who worships in the victim father’s church, was caught with the girl.

The prosecutor said that the victim later reported that her school teacher also defiled her when she assisted him in carrying his bag home.

The prosecutor said the offences contravened Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
