It added that screening of chairmanship and councillorship aspirants will hold from Feb. 7 to Feb. 11 across the 21 local government areas and 326 wards.

According to the schedule, appeals from the screening exercise will be resolved on Feb. 13 and Ward congresses to elect councillorship candidates and ad-hoc delegates are slated for Feb. 14.

“The chairmanship primary election will hold on Feb. 15 while appeals arising from the primaries will be handled on Feb. 16, all in Awka, it stated.

APGA fixed the cost of chairmanship forms at N6 million and councillorship forms at N600,000.00, noting that female aspirants and persons with disabilities would pay 50 per cent of the fees.

The party added that all payments were non-refundable and that dates remained subject to change.

It also urged intending aspirants to strictly comply with the stipulated guidelines and its electoral regulations.
