Dash Microfinance Bank Limited has rolled out a new mobile banking solution, the Dash App, in a move aimed at widening access to digital financial services and deepening its connection with retail users and small businesses across Nigeria.

The platform enables customers to carry out routine banking activities—such as transfers, account management, and service access—directly from their smartphones, reducing reliance on physical banking channels. With this launch, the bank is responding to increasing demand for fast, flexible, and mobile-driven financial services.

Managing Director and CEO Awofisibe Rotimi said the application underscores the bank’s focus on convenience and customer experience. He noted that the app is built to give users more autonomy over their finances, allowing seamless interaction with the bank at any time and from any location.

He further explained that the bank’s approach is centered on solving everyday financial challenges rather than simply competing within the industry. By focusing on underserved individuals and small businesses, the platform is designed to reflect how Nigerians manage income, expenses, and financial growth in real life.

The development mirrors a broader trend in Nigeria’s financial sector, where institutions are increasingly embracing digital-led models to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving fintech and microfinance environment. For Dash Microfinance Bank, the app represents a significant step toward building a more accessible and technology-driven banking ecosystem.

Now available on both Android and iOS, the Dash App is expected to drive user adoption and strengthen digital engagement. Since commencing operations in 2025 under the regulation of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the bank has maintained a focus on using technology to promote financial inclusion and support economic activity across the country.
