The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared controversial Lagos-based woman, Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.
In a notice issued on Monday and signed by the Commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the anti-graft agency said the 41-year-old suspect is being sought in connection with the alleged offence.
“The public is hereby notified that Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence,” the statement read.
According to the EFCC, Tejuosho’s last known address is House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.
The Commission appealed to members of the public to provide useful information that could lead to her arrest.
“Anybody with useful information as to her whereabouts should please contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices,” the agency said
The EFCC also urged the public to report any relevant information through its official communication channels or at the nearest police station and other security agencies.
