Muktar Galadima, a retired Director, Department of Development Control, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Abuja has purchased his nomination form for Wukari and Ibi Federal Constituency under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
themomentng reports that Galadima picked both his nomination and the expression of interest form at the party secretariat in Jalingo on Wednesday.
Speaking to newsmen in Jalingo, Galadima expressed confidence in his ability to represent his people with impact on their wellbeing.
The town Planner also expressed confidence in winning the house of representative seat in the coming general elections.
He said that the victory would be determined by his constituent and not the government in power, adding that he was not disturbed by the posture of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the ruling party in the state.
“I am very happy today because the process towards actualisation of my dream of giving my people good leadership is on the top gear.
“I have just purchased my expression of interest and nomination form today and I am overwhelmed by the support and goodwill I have received from the people of Wukari/Ibi.
“My intention and aspiration is based on my people’s clarion call for better representation at the national assembly, bearing in mind my track records of services at the FCTA
“I am very confident of my victory come 2027 and I call on my people not to be disturbed, especially as they have the power to decide who gets what in the elections,” he added.
themomentng reports that Galadima is from Ibi Local Government Area. A Town Planner (TPL) by profession, worked and retired as a director in the FCTA nine years ago.
He has also resigned as a Senior Special Assistant on Development Control to the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike to contest for the house of representative seat.
