The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency says the return airlift of Kaduna pilgrims from Saudi Arabia will commence on June 15.
The Chairman of the agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, disclosed this in a statement issued by the Agency Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti , on Tuesday in Kaduna.
Datti said that all pilgrims would be airlifted back to Nigeria in the same order in which they arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to him, pilgrims who travelled on the first outbound flight will return on the first inbound flight, while subsequent groups will be transported according to their respective flight schedules.
He stressed that no pilgrim would be allowed to change or select a different return flight outside the arrangements already made by the agency.
He urged all pilgrims to cooperate with officials and adhere strictly to the approved return schedule to ensure a smooth and hitch-free journey back home.
He also appealed to the pilgrims to remain patient and disciplined throughout the return process, assuring them that adequate measures had been put in place for their safe and orderly transportation.
The agency reiterated its commitment to ensuring the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj operations for all Kaduna State pilgrims.
