Airtel Networks Zambia Plc has achieved a significant corporate milestone, surpassing a market capitalisation of US$1 billion on the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) as of 8 June 2026.

The achievement strengthens the company’s position as one of Zambia’s leading telecommunications and digital services providers and reflects growing investor confidence in its business performance, innovation strategy, and commitment to expanding digital and financial services.

Board Chairperson Lynda Mataka described the milestone as a testament to the collective efforts of customers, employees, shareholders, and partners who have contributed to the company’s growth. She said the achievement reinforces Airtel Zambia’s commitment to delivering sustainable value while expanding access to digital connectivity and financial inclusion across the country.
