The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced that applications for its 2026 recruitment exercise will commence on Friday, July 3, with vacancies available across several cadres.
According to a recruitment notice dated June 24, the exercise will cover the officer cadre, marshal inspectorate, and road marshal assistant categories. The notice was signed by the Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal.
The corps said applications will be received exclusively through its official recruitment portal over a four-week period and stressed that the process is entirely free of charge.
Prospective applicants are required to submit their applications via the FRSC recruitment portal. Candidates who are eventually shortlisted will be expected to present printed copies of their completed application forms during the screening exercise.

Applicants in this category must generally be between 18 and 30 years of age.
The road marshal assistant category is open to candidates with a minimum of three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), including English Language and Mathematics. The agency said applicants must be Nigerians by birth, medically fit, computer literate and of good character. Candidates are also expected to be single, provide valid contact information and meet the prescribed minimum height requirements for both male and female applicants.
The corps further advised candidates to declare all academic and professional qualifications during the application process, warning that failure to do so could affect future career advancement.
It also stated that applicants must have no criminal record, should not be financially indebted and must not have body tattoos. In addition, pregnant women have been advised not to apply for the 2026 recruitment exercise.
