Ify Okoye, wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has weighed in on the ongoing dispute between the Okoye brothers.

Peter, Paul and Jude, the Okoye brothers, who founded the now-defunct music group Psquare, have renewed their public feud in recent days.

Last week, Peter took to Instagram to accuse Jude of excluding him from certain proceeds from their music catalogue, including a specific sum of $25,000.

He also alleged that he is not a signatory to one of the bank accounts used for collecting their music royalties.

Jude, however, denied any fraudulent activity, insisting that all income from their musical projects was shared equally among the three brothers.

Reacting in a post on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Ify said she would not “trade accusations or fuel public conflict,” stating that she would instead “let God be my witness”.

“There comes a time when silence is no longer about fear, but about entrusting the truth to God,” she wrote.

“I have become aware of stories that have been twisted and manipulated to draw me into disputes that I neither created nor desire. I will not respond by trading accusations or fueling public conflict.

“As a believer, I choose to let God be my witness, for He knows every conversation, every intention, and every truth hidden from human eyes.”

She referenced the biblical tale of Ananias and Sapphira, noting that while people can deceive others, “no one can deceive God”.

“The story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that while people can deceive others for a time, no one can deceive God. He is the righteous Judge who weighs every motive, exposes every falsehood, and upholds the truth in His perfect time,” she wrote.

“I have no desire to defend myself before those committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right.

“My prayer is not for judgment, but for mercy.

“May God bring conviction where it is needed, healing where there is brokenness, and peace where there is unrest. May He soften hardened hearts, restore what has been damaged, and lead us all into truth, humility, repentance, and His perfect love.”

The Okoye brothers first parted ways in 2017 following disagreements over Jude’s role as their manager.

In November 2021, they ended their five-year feud and held their first headline concert in December.

However, in 2024, Paul confirmed that the group had split again. He alleged that Peter was involved in his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Peter later raised concerns about alleged irregularities in their former management, leading to renewed public exchanges and legal disputes within the family.

Earlier in April, Peter announced that he had officially changed his birth date to November 30. Last week, he also accused Paul of trying to damage his reputation.
