Tenable Holdings, Inc. has launched the CyberAgents Exchange, an open-source platform designed to foster collaboration among cybersecurity professionals by providing a dedicated registry for AI agents, skills, MCP servers and multi-agent playbooks.

The company said the CyberAgents Exchange is the first cybersecurity-native platform of its kind, addressing a growing need for a centralized hub where security teams can develop, share and improve AI-powered cyber defense tools. Tenable noted that while many organizations are adopting AI to strengthen security operations, they often build AI agents in isolation, leading to duplicated efforts and limited collaboration.

According to Tenable, the CyberAgents Exchange offers a free and open environment that provides code-level transparency, allowing users to verify who created each AI component, when it was developed and its peer-supported status. The company said this enables organizations to deploy trusted AI tools while giving cybersecurity practitioners a platform to showcase and build expertise in AI-driven security.

Tenable also announced that SentinelOne and Recorded Future have joined the initiative as founding members. The two companies will contribute AI agents, integration frameworks and playbooks to help strengthen the industry’s collective ability to defend against AI-driven cyber threats.

The platform launches with more than 50 open-source AI components, including AI agents for vulnerability management, threat intelligence integrations, threat hunting skills and exposure management playbooks. These resources are intended to help organizations accelerate AI adoption in cybersecurity while reducing development time and improving collaboration.
