Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, reportedly made the clarification during a phone conversation with actress and African Action Congress (AAC) Abia governorship candidate Doris Ogala. Ogala is the AAC candidate for the 2027 Abia governorship election.
The clarification came after a woman posted a video appealing to the public for financial assistance on Blessing CEO’s behalf.
In the conversation with Ogala, Blessing reportedly said she had not asked anyone to raise funds for her
“I didn’t give anyone consent to solicit funds on my behalf, and I’m in the best position to break the news about my son’s passing,” she said, according to the recording shared by Ogala.

The statement has added a new twist to the growing public attention surrounding the reported death of Blessing CEO’s son and calls for assistance to the influencer, who is currently in detention.

Blessing CEO also appeared to suggest that any official announcement concerning her son’s death should come directly from her.
For now, the phone conversation shared by Ogala serves as Blessing CEO’s reported position that shedid not authorise the fundraising appeal.
