Embattled relationship blogger, Blessing Okoro a.k.a. Blessing CEO, has broken her silence over internet rumours alleging that her young son had passed away in an accident.
The reports had spread across social media platforms over the weekend, triggering widespread panic and a flood of condolence messages on her business pages.
The social media influencer had uploaded an emotional video to clear the air on the rumour.
While she acknowledged dealing with family challenges and emotional distress, Blessing CEO clarified that her child is safe, firmly stating that the viral death reports were twisted fabrications cooked up by sensationalist platforms.
The content creator had accused news bloggers of “rushing to broadcast unverified, tragic news simply to gain clicks, traffic, and engagement”.
Blessing CEO described the act of playing with the life of a child for internet attention as “wicked and unacceptable.”
She, however, declared that she was already consulting her legal team to take decisive action against those behind the rumour.
Following her reaction, her loyal fans took to the comment sections to express relief that the tragic news was fake, with many urging her to take a temporary break from social media to rest, heal from the emotional toll, and protect her family’s privacy.
