Since commencing operations in Nigeria in 2021, the company has invested more than ₦54 billion in the market. The platform has facilitated the delivery of more than 40 million items to customers. At the same time, the economic value generated for businesses operating on it more than doubled in the last year alone, reflecting the growing role of digital platforms in Nigeria’s commerce ecosystem.
Notably, Nigeria remains Glovo’s fastest-growing market globally in 2026, across 21 countries, and consistently ranks as having the best operational timing among on-demand ordering apps in the country.
To empower local partners, Glovo has delivered more than 50 in-person training sessions within the framework of our Glovo Academy program for hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses, driving clear post-training performance improvements. Earlier this year, the company also hosted its 2nd annual Future of Commerce Summit, bringing together CEOs of leading brands such as Chicken Republic, Burger King, and The Place alongside hundreds of local SMB restaurants for shared learning and growth.
Speaking on the company’s outlook for Nigeria, the Director of Glovo in Africa, Dima Rasnovsky, said the company is driven by its confidence in the country’s long-term potential and the opportunities presented by its evolving digital economy.
According to Rasnovsky, Glovo’s long-term commitment includes strengthening the ecosystem around its operations by improving its technology, supporting partners, and creating sustainable value, while driving e-commerce growth across the country.
