He said, “GTB, today, on Nigeria’s 66th Independence Day, you deducted over N18,000 from my account in the name and disguise of a service charge, which I don’t understand.

“N18,000, whole thousand! What did I buy from you? I’ve been with you since 1995. Almost N20,000. Why? If you are affected by this theft and oppression, let’s call GTB out.”

He captioned the video: “What an independence robbery. It’s all banks. It’s like they are gathering success through our money.”

Meanwhile, as of this report, GTBank has not responded to the actor’s accusation.

Meanwhile, Yemi Solade recently recounted how he was allegedly paid to participate in a staged healing miracle before finding fame in the Nigerian film industry.

Solade said he pretended to have a physical disability during the purported miracle while he was still a student and relatively unknown.

The actor made the disclosure during an interview with Feel Right News TV published on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Recalling the experience, Solade said he was approached to play a person with a disability and was paid to participate.

He admitted accepting the offer at the time, adding that he later spent the money he received on alcohol.
