Access Women Network (AWN) has partnered with Evolve Charity Trust to provide essential school supplies to girls across 17 schools in 12 states in Nigeria, reinforcing its commitment to supporting education, empowering young girls and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
The initiative will reach students in Lagos, Abuja, Akwa Ibom, Rivers (Port Harcourt), Kaduna, Kano, Imo, Kogi, Anambra, Delta, Osun and Edo States. Through the distribution of school supplies, the partnership seeks to help students participate more confidently in their education while reducing some of the financial pressures parents face in providing essential learning materials.
The Lagos leg of the initiative is scheduled for October 14, 15 and 30, 2026, alongside activities across participating schools in other locations.
Access to basic school supplies is important to create a supportive learning environment, particularly for children from families facing financial constraints. By providing these materials, Access Women Network and Evolve Charity Trust aim to help girls approach their studies with greater confidence, participate more actively in the classroom and remain focused on their educational goals.
