He urged INEC to be impartial and transparent and conduct the polls in accordance with extant laws.

The NDENYLF spokesperson urged Niger Delta youths to reject political violence, electoral manipulation and attempts by politicians to use them for selfish reasons.

“We are warning our youths against allowing themselves to be used by desperate politicians before, during, and after the elections.

“We reaffirm commitment to peace, justice, accountability and the protection of the collective interests of the Niger Delta people,” he said.

He said that the group would formally communicate its position on the 2027 general elections to the public in the coming days.

The youth leader further said that the group would pursue its resolutions through policy petitions, institutional dialogue, public monitoring and peaceful civic action.

“We call on all levels of government to support the call for peaceful and credible elections,” he said.
