The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has postponed the unveiling and inauguration of its National Campaign Council from Oct. 20 to Oct. 26.
The party announced the postponement in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director.
Director attributed the extension to the tight schedule of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who has an important engagement overseas.
The director apologized for any inconvenience caused by the postponement.
He also urged party members and supporters to remain focused on its electoral objectives ahead of the forthcoming presidential and general elections.
The national publicity secretary expressed the party’s commitment to securing victory for Obi and all its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
