‘The Return of Arinzo’ and ‘The Other Side of the Bridge’ have recorded impressive box office performances, reinforcing the growing strength of Nigeria’s cinema industry.

FilmOne Entertainment, a leading distribution company, announced that ‘The Return of Arinzo’ has grossed N276 million and counting, maintaining its position as the number one film for three consecutive weekends across West Africa.

The distributor expressed appreciation to audiences for their continued support, noting that the film’s strong run reflects increasing patronage of locally produced content.

“The Return of Arinzo continues to soar, thanks to the overwhelming love from viewers across the region,” the company said.

In a related development, ‘The Other Side of the Bridge’ posted a strong debut, earning N14 million during its opening weekend.

The film ranked as the second-highest-grossing Nollywood title for the weekend nationwide.

According to FilmOne, the movie’s performance highlights the audience connection with its themes, which capture the grit, resilience and everyday realities of life in Lagos.

“From Mainland to Island, this is our story on screen. The response from Nigerians has been remarkable,” the company added.
