If you watched Real Housewives of Abuja on DStv, you already know why this moment mattered. TutuPie and Princess Jecoco, two of the show’s most talked-about personalities, were both in the room at The Macallan Timeless Collection launch in Abuja, an exclusive evening that celebrated the whisky brand’s new visual identity for its Sherry Oak and Double Cask collections.
For the uninitiated, think of it like Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay turning up at the same event after one of their legendary fallouts. If you know, you know. But drama aside, the style was the real story of the night.
Princess Jecoco arrived in full maximalist mode, a bold colour-blocked ensemble featuring a hot pink strapless corset top adorned with rose appliqué, paired with a sky-blue fringe skirt, strappy pink heels, and a mini pink handbag. It was loud, intentional, and completely unforgettable. TutuPie took the opposite approach, stepping out in a burnt-orange satin strapless column gown with sculptural rose detailing at the bodice, finished with a tan quilted microbag and barely-there heeled sandals. Sleek, refined, and quietly powerful.
Two very different style energies: one turned up the volume, the other whispered luxury, but both women delivered. Other notable guests at the Timeless Collection unveiling included music executive and culture advocate Audu Maikori, alongside Andy Madaki, Lydia Gana, and Obinna Osisiogu.
