The Youth Alliance for Tinubu and Shettima, YATS, has postponed its planned One Million March from August 28–29 to September 25–26, 2026, citing the need for improved coordination, mobilisation and security arrangements.
The group announced the new dates in a statement signed by its Director General, Hon. Oche Silas.
According to YATS, the postponement followed a review of prevailing circumstances and the need to ensure effective participation by members and supporters across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The organisation stressed that the decision was strategic and did not amount to cancellation of the programme.
YATS said the march is intended to demonstrate youth support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group also directed its state, zonal, local government and ward structures to remain mobilised while preparations continue for the rescheduled event.
YATS has in recent weeks intensified nationwide mobilisation for Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group said September 25 and 26 are now the confirmed dates for the One Million March.
