Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday and reality television star Phyna have traded words on social media after the actress publicly criticised the former BBNaija winner over her frequent online confrontations.

The exchange began after Nkechi posted a video in which she accused Phyna of getting involved in too many disputes on social media and advised her to reduce the controversies surrounding her.

Nkechi also jokingly complained about people comparing her appearance with Phyna’s before turning her attention to what she described as the reality star’s troublesome behaviour.

“Phyna, what’s your problem? You know wetin kon dey vex me pass… if I post picture, people go dey tell me say: is it my eyes or you look like Phyna. “I’m troublesome, oh, but God no go let me resemble that girl,” she said.

“She is too troublesome. Phyna, relax… must you fight with everybody? I know say you go come for me oh, but number one, I am not your mate. So before you set your camera and try to insult me, just know say I am 37.”

The actress, who stressed that she was older than Phyna, said the reality star should exercise more restraint when responding to people online.

“I am senior to you. But you need to calm down. You are doing too much. You just come online and talk to people anyhow. Are you okay?” Nkechi said.

“Don’t you have people that talk to you at home? You no get elders for your house? Before you know, you would say they are trying to bully you. You know who they bully reach for this internet space?

“Try rest. See me now, I used to be a very troublesome person but ever since I stop doing all this internet drama, I have peace. You don’t like peace? I would call you with my full chest

“If you don’t have anyone t tell the truth, I Nkechi Blessing, I would tell you. Try dey respect yourself… you are just trending for the wrong reasons.”

Phyna later responded through her Instagram Story, questioning why Nkechi chose to address her publicly when, according to her, they had not spoken since an earlier private conversation.

“Since after that chat, me and you no get any conversation again. So where is all these your nonsense videos coming from.” she wrote.

She then directly mentioned the actress and questioned whether the video was intended to generate attention.

“@nkechiblessingsunday abi na clout you wan chase? Wassup grandma, wassup?”

The confrontation has since drawn reactions from social media users, with several people questioning Nkechi’s decision to make her advice public. Others defended Phyna’s tendency to respond when criticised, while some treated the exchange as another episode of celebrity social media drama.
