The Government of the State of Osun has described the Chief of Staff, to the governor, Dr. Charles ‘Diji Akinola, as an exceptional public servant whose brilliance and rich experience have been a blessing to Osun and to Nigeria.
In a congratulatory statement on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary, signed by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, Osun government described Akinola as a man of great accomplishments especially in his chosen career.
The government, extolling the Harvard scholar, said: “Today, we celebrate a man of impressive erudition and a successful development strategist.
“Osun is blessed to have this brilliant mind commit his wealth of experience to the development agenda of the State at this point in its history. As an administrator,  he is a long distance runner with strong work ethic and enviable coordination ability.
“Dr Akinola is an inspirational figure, who has distinguished himself with dedication and passion for service, vigorously pursuing the vision of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for the State of Osun.
“We pray for God’s blessings upon his endeavors and strength for sustained impact in the years ahead as he continues to serve the state, the nation and the world by extension”, the statement read in part.
Osun government also called on youth at all levels to emulate Akinola for his hard work and tenacity of purpose.
