The younger brother of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, SammyWest, has vowed to protect his sister against physical assault.
ThemomentNG recalls that Sammy was recently arrested by the police and arraigned before a Court following a petition filed against him by Regina’s estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and was remanded in prison custody.
However, Sammy regained his freedom from prison on Monday, November 10.
Taking to social media, Regina posted a recording of the video call with Sammy, saying he is ready to go to prison over and over, as long as the movie star is safe from assault.
Sammy said he is comfortable with going to jail again to keep his family safe.
“For my family matter, I ready go prison five times. As long as say nobody go beat you again, I ready go that prison five times,” he said to the admiration of Regina, who kept on professing her love for him.
Regina Daniels captioned the post, “I love you so much my brother. Nobody go beat me again, na my brother talk am.”
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has insisted that Nigerian lawmaker, Ned Nwoko, married her colleague, Regina Daniels, when she was 17.
Sources reports that Doris made this known amid controversy regarding Regina’s age.
In a post shared on Instagram, Doris stated that she has seen Regina Daniels‘ birth certificate, adding that only a mother can accurately determine her daughter’s age.
She said, “Only a mother will tell you when she gave birth to her child, I’ve seen Regina’s birth certificate and international passport.
“Gina was born on 10 Oct 2001, She got married sometime in May 2019. She was 17 + when she married.”
