The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has stated that Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will not be removed from her position as an ordained pastor in the church.
Speaking during the monthly Holy Ghost Service today, Adeboye explained that Oluremi Tinubu was ordained as an Assistant Pastor more than ten years ago, long before her husband, Bola Ahmed uTinubu, showed any intention of running for the presidency.
He emphasised that the First Lady went through the full process of ordination and has not violated any of the church’s guidelines. He added that the church will not bow to external pressure calling for her removal.
