Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has released a new single, “I Love You Because.”
The former member of the defunct P-Square group announced the release in a post on his verified Instagram account.
The singer accompanied the post with visuals promoting the song, which carries the title “I Love You Because,” adding that the audio and video of the hit are now available on major streaming platforms.
The song, which is part of his upcoming project titled “OG Forever,” focuses on appreciation, emotional maturity, and why people stay committed to someone special.
The release of the hit single has attracted reactions from his fans and other artistes.
Singer Don Flexx described it as a “song for the mind, body and soul,” while another commenter, identified as official.beco, described the song as beautiful.
